Política de Plágio e Autoplagiarismo

  • Editorial Stance: zero tolerance for plagiarism, self-plagiarism or redundant publication; unauthorized appropriation of ideas, text or images is deemed scientific misconduct ​.

  • Definitions:

    • Plagiarism: unreferenced presentation of others’ ideas, phrases or data as one’s own.

    • Self-Plagiarism: reuse of substantial parts of one’s own published work without proper citation ​.

  • Detection: employs similarity-checking tools (iThenticate®, Turnitin® or equivalent); overlaps above 15–20 % without citation may lead to initial rejection ​.

  • Disciplinary Actions: depending on severity, may require corrections, reject submission, retract articles or bar authors, per COPE protocols ​.

  • Exceptions & Best Practices: standardized methods and public-domain data may be reused if clearly flagged and cited ​.

  • Author Guidance: authors must use pre-submission checks (e.g., Zotero, Mendeley, EndNote) and declare any derivative content transparently ​.

  • Education & Prevention: the journal provides training, educational resources and workshops on publication ethics ​.
